Pay Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $17.85 - $18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary tests
  • Introduce patients to the OD and share relevant patient information
  • Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services
  • Support daily operational activities such as restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience
Qualifications:
  • Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
