Pay Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $17.85 - $18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary tests
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, educating and recommending suitable products and services
• Support daily operations, including inventory management, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
