Job summary

VisionFirst, a local, employee-owned eye care provider with 18 locations in Kentucky and Indiana, is seeking a friendly team member to join our patient-focused front desk. You’ll greet patients, prep them for exams, conduct pre-tests, and help ensure every visit runs smoothly with warmth and professionalism.

Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person. This on-site role offers a collaborative environment, ESOP benefits, generous PTO, and opportunities

What You'll Do

You'll be a key part of our patient experience - greeting people, prepping them for exams, conducting pre-tests, and ensuring that every patient has a great experience. No two days look exactly alike. Some key job duties include:

• Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing
• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow
