Job summary

Logiqal, Inc. in Princeton, NJ seeks an Optomechanical Engineer to design and build the backbone of our quantum processors.

You’ll translate lab prototypes into manufacturable hardware for first-of-a-kind, full-scale quantum datacenters, designing precision optomechanics, modular breadboards, and large-scale infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with quantum scientists and optical engineers to select components, meet design criteria, and complete design, prototyping, construction and validation,

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and problem solving are essential.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required.
• Hands-on construction and alignment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype precision optomechanics and modular optical breadboards.
• Develop large-scale mechanical infrastructure for quantum processors.
• Work with researchers to select components and meet design timelines; complete design, prototyping, construction and validation.
