Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of work experience.
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident due to ITAR/EAR restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Creates opto-mechanical system designs meeting mechanical and optical requirements.
• Optimizes performance via FEA and thermal analysis.
• Performs tolerance analysis at system and subsystem level.
• Creates full drawing packages with GD&T and AIT plans.
• Provides hands-on lab collaboration with engineers and technicians.
• Works with vendors to manufacture parts and subsystems.
• Creates technical documents and reports for reviews.
• Supports design reviews such as CoDR, PDR and CDR.
