Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join the Electro-Mechanical Engineering team. You will design and analyze hardware for opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, producing assemblies and tooling within an integrated product team (IPT).

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in design, analysis, development, fabrication, integration, verification and compliance processes.
• Knowledge in opto-mechanical, electro-mechanical, thermal and/or structural systems development.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Written, verbal and visual communication skills; teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze hardware for opto-/electro-mechanical systems.
• Produce deliverable hardware and tooling within an IPT.
• Create new design models and layouts; generate drawings and BOMs (PDMLink).
• Provide engineering analyses linking requirements to design parameters.
• Support communications with customers and vendors; prepare technical reports and reviews.
• Assist manufacturing with build and test of designed equipment.
