Job summary

Molex, a leader in optical solutions, seeks an Application Engineer for transceiver tech, hardware validation, and customer engagements. You will work across firmware validation, testing, and problem resolution to support high-bandwidth optical networks.

Ideal candidates have an EE background with hands-on lab experience, ready to address design-in activities and testing at customer sites, and to collaborate with internal teams on product features and requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Hands-on hardware lab experience required.
• Experience with power meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers.
• Strong interest in customer-facing roles and field issue resolution.
• Hands-on hardware circuitry experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow optical solutions portfolio focusing on transceiver technologies.
• Provide technical support to strategic accounts and drive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams from concept to qualification.
• Define product test requirements with engineering.
• Bring-up transceiver modules at customer sites and develop solutions.
