IEX is seeking a curious, analytical intern to assist the Options Business Team with product strategy efforts. You’ll support research, gather requirements, and analyze market opportunities to shape product direction for US options trading.

The role involves collaboration with Core Development, QA, Product Management, and Project Management, and includes preparing proposals and external presentations. NY-based internship with potential bonus/equity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in a relevant field (technical background preferred).
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in technology, electronic trading, market structure, or financial products.
• Comfortable learning new concepts quickly and working through detailed problems.
• Curious about the why behind user needs, product decisions, and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Support the Options Business Team with research, analysis, and documentation for product initiatives.
• Help gather and organize requirements from internal stakeholders and external conversations.
• Analyze product performance and market opportunities to inform business direction.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with Core Development, QA, PM, and Project Management.
• Help prepare materials including product proposals, pricing changes, board materials, and external presentations.
