Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a Financial Services organization in an accounting role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university
• Strong accounting technical skills
• Experience with Options products is required
• Ability to research US GAAP independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Data visualization tools are a plus
• Must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Download and verify bank statements
• Reconcile exchange accruals
• Manage exchange daily files
• Update payment-for-order-flow (PFOF) accruals
• Reconcile billing system data with exchange invoices, daily and monthly exchange data, and PFOF actuals across multiple counterparties
• Prepare and book journal entries for accruals, actuals, connectivity fees, and other charges
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and PeopleSoft uploads
• Prepare, refresh, and email preliminary and final reporting files, including P&L, tiers, AOS/Precision, and client billing
• Refresh kickout files
• Update OCC files
• Upload rules to the billing system
• Reconcile unclaimed wires
• Ensure alignment with exchange fee schedules and updates
