Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience (public or corporate).
• Experience researching and reconciling multiple accounts.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP and databases.
• Collaborative communication with internal/external teams, including remote members.
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support GAAP-compliant financial statements and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in period-end close activities and ensure tasks are on schedule.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve unusual financial items and accounting issues.
• Create monthly schedules supporting balance sheet reconciliations and audits.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items promptly.
• Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries and using ERP tools.
• Distribute routine and ad hoc financial reports.
• Lead or participate in special projects (M&A, policy updates, systems changes).
• Communicate financial information to internal and external customers.
• Advise management on issues affecting financial condition.
• Document processes and desk procedures.
