Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related area.
• 3+ years of professional software development with optimization focus.
• Experience solving optimization problems in defense, logistics, or supply chains.
• Proficient with Python for scientific computing and software development.
• Strong knowledge of classical optimization algorithms and solvers.
• Hands-on experience with optimization libraries and solvers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement efficient optimization algorithms and software.
• Apply linear programming, MILP, network flow, and dynamic programming methods.
• Prototype with GenAI tools to accelerate solution development.
• Develop data models and data pipelines for optimization inputs/outputs.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Test, validate, and analyze performance for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Contribute to R&D efforts and documentation.
