Job summary

PSCI is seeking a Test Equipment Technician - Calibration L2 in Orlando, FL. The role calibrates optical and electronic equipment, tests instruments, and sets up calibration sequences per detailed specifications.

Required: 2+ years in optics calibration, experience with interferometers, autocollimators, optical scopes, and related tools; high school diploma; US citizen and ability to obtain security clearance. First shift, 4/10 work week, onsite full-time, $35.96/hr, contract through 2027-10-28.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with optics measurement and calibration.
• Experience with test measurement tools such as interferometer and autocollimator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office to read procedures.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates optical and electronic measuring equipment to standards.
• Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains various measuring instruments.
• Sets up calibration sequences per specs, blueprints, and drawings.
• Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts.
• May monitor quality using statistical processes and control procedures.
