Qualifications

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Interested in applying optics and photonics technologies to defense applications.
  • Proficient written and oral communication; ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with Python, Matlab, or C/C++.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Eligible for Interim Secret clearance and eventual Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers on defense-focused optics projects.
  • Contribute to development of solutions for high-energy laser systems, beam control, atmospheric sensing, and optical communications.
  • Engage in technical discussions to drive innovative solutions.
