The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in retail or customer service, with licensure as an optician preferred. On-site work with opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service environment.
• Ability to sell and meet sales targets.
• State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianry association as an optician.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by fostering a retail selling culture and using effective sales skills.
• Develop professional relationships with associates and Doctors.
• Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses and frames.
• Recommend specific lenses and coatings to suit patient needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinating with prescriptions.
• Perform optical measurements and ensure accurate pricing and delivery quotes.
• Guide patients on Managed Vision Care and merchandize according to Planogram.
• Support marketing programs and promotions per company standards.
