All About Eyes is seeking an Optician with no prior optical experience. We'll train you into a profession, building on strengths from other customer-facing roles like retail or service.

You’ll help patients select frames, verify benefits, and deliver excellent vision care in a fast-paced environment. The role offers total earnings of $20–26/hour with a guaranteed $17/hour base plus commission and bonuses, plus a benefits package including retirement, insurance, paid time off, and training

Optician — No Experience Necessary

No optical experience? Good. Some of our strongest opticians came to us from selling phones, jewelry, cosmetics, shoes, furniture, or appliances — or from waiting tables and running a front desk. If you know how to read a customer, ask the right questions, recommend with confidence, and hit a number, you already have the hardest part of this job. We'll train you into a profession.

Compensation & Benefits

Total earning potential: $20–26/hr+.

Our Optician roles start with a guaranteed $17/hr base, plus a commission and bonus structure built to be earned, not chased — most opticians add another $3–9/hour on top of base as they grow into the role.
