Job summary

Midwest-Eye-Consultants in Angola, IN is seeking an Eyewear Consultant/Optician for a full-time, on-site role. You will educate patients on lens options, assist with frame styling, and create a welcoming optical retail environment.

Responsibilities include calculating insurance co-pays, entering orders, maintaining inventory and displays, and following up with patients on eyewear adaptation. A high school diploma and sales experience are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sales/retail experience preferred; willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting spectacles and frame styling.
• Calculate insurance co-pay based on eligibility.
• Enter spectacle orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory and displays in the optical retail area.
• Follow up with patients on adaptation to eyewear and prescribed contacts.
