Job summary

Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, KS is seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision team. This role supports families in selecting eyeglass frames, confirms frame fits, and works with glasses and contact orders and quotes.

Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, the position offers generous pay with monthly bonuses, PTO and benefits. ABO certification is a plus, and experience with children is valued.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience as an optician.
• ABO certification is a plus.
• Experience and interest in working with children.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription.
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments.
• Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes.
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings.
• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, KS, is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Pay Range: $18-$24/hr
