Job summary

Adventure Dental & Vision in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision team. You will assist families in selecting eyeglass frames, ensure proper frame fit, and process glasses and contact lens orders with care.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience as an optician.
• Experience and interest in working with children.

Adventure Dental & Vision in Kansas City, KS, is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Pay Range: $18-$24/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Assist our pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments
• Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings
• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
