Qualifications

• Attention to detail in frame fitting, measurements, adjustments, and product selection.
• ABO certification or equivalent optician credential preferred; willingness to pursue certification if not already obtained.
• Experience in optical retail or healthcare settings is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform fine motor tasks, and use optical tools and equipment safely.
• Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and inventory processes.

Role Description

The Optician role at Eyetique is a full-time, on-site position located in Wexford, PA. In this role, the Optician assists clients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their visual needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences, ensuring proper fit and comfort. Daily responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, advising on lens options and coatings, taking measurements, performing adjustments and minor repairs, and educating clients on eyewear care.
