Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision team. You will assist patients in selecting frames, ensure proper fittings, and manage glasses and contact orders in a fast-paced, family-friendly practice.

ABO certification is a plus, and experience with children is preferred. This on-site position offers opportunities for growth within the region and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience as an optician.
• ABO certification is a plus.
• Experience and interest in working with children.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames matching prescriptions.
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments.
• Process glasses and contact orders and quotes.
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings.
• Assist with frame repairs and troubleshooting.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable for patients.
• Participate in other duties supporting the mission of providing high-quality pediatric care.

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Santa Fe, NM is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.Pay Range: $20-$23/hrJob Responsibilities

• Assist our pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments
• Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings
• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
