Greenacres Eye Associates in Greenacres, FL invites an experienced Optician to join our team. You will dispense glasses and contacts, assist with frame selection, and operate optical equipment with care.

ABO certification required; prior optical sales experience; HIPAA compliance; join a shop offering vision insurance and PTO. We value accuracy, customer service, and professional knowledge of lenses and coatings. Training available for lensometry, OCT, and refractive equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in optical sales and frame selection.
• Knowledge of ordering, general repair, and merchandising.
• Hold Certified Optician status.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional eye care services to our patients.
• Assist with frame selection and dispense glasses and contacts.
• Execute lens cutting and operate optical equipment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with lensometry and OCT.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient data.
• Manage retail sales, claims and patient care activities.
• Dispense glasses and operate autorefractor.
• Conduct lens selection and some pre-testing as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional eye care services to our patients.


• assist with frame selection.


• Accurately dispense glasses and contact lenses.


• Execute lens cutting.


• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing lensometry and other optical equipment.


• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.


• Efficiently manage retail sales, claims, and patient care.


• Dispense Glasses.


• Operate Autorefractor.


• Utilize Optical Coherence Tomography.


• Possess Optical Knowledge.


• Hold ABO Certification.


• Conduct Lens Selection.


• Perform some Pre-Testing.

Qualifications
