Mcgreevy Incorporated in Minnesota is seeking an Optician to guide patients through frame selection, lens options, and final fittings in a fast-paced optical clinic.

You will combine technical know-how with sales skills, measure PD, adjust eyewear, process orders, and explain insurance benefits while delivering personalized service to each patient.

Qualifications

• Prev optician or optical sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames that fit their style, needs, and prescription.
• Educate patients on lens options (progressives, anti-reflective, blue light, etc.).
• Interpret prescriptions and recommend appropriate lens solutions.
• Accurately measure PD, segment height, and ensure proper fit.
• Adjust and dispense eyewear for optimal comfort and vision.
• Process optical orders and ensure accuracy.
• Verify and explain vision insurance benefits.
• Meet or exceed optical sales goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve patient concerns professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical showroom.

Position Overview

The Optician plays a critical role in the patient experience by guiding patients through frame selection, lens options, and final fittings. Key Responsibilities
