PDS Optical is seeking an Experienced Optician to join our team at the Columbia, SC VA clinic and assist Veterans with eyewear and vision care.

You will provide friendly service, help fit and adjust eyewear, and ensure accurate lens measurements while upholding VA guidelines. This position offers a stable schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a sign-on bonus, with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Must begin an apprenticeship upon onboarding and obtain licensure in accordance with minimum state regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear
• Proficient with manual lensometers, pupilometers, and computer systems
• Familiarity with VA optical benefits and discounts is a plus
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused

Position Details

• Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends
• Pay Range: $20-$22/hour
• Sign-on Bonus: $5,00.00
  • $2,500.00 after 30 days of employment!
  • $2,500.00 after 6 months of employment!
