Job summary

Academy Kids Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an Optician to join our pediatric vision team. You will assist children and families with frame selections, ensure proper frame fits, and process glasses orders in a high-volume practice.

Candidate should have at least one year of experience as an optician, be comfortable working with kids, and maintain meticulous attention to detail while contributing to patient comfort and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match prescriptions.

• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the practice is clean and presentable to patients (restrooms, lobby, floor care).

Academy Kids Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Colorado Springs, CO, is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist our pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments
• Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings
• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications
