Binyon Vision Center in Burien, WA is seeking a full-time Optician to guide patients in selecting eyewear that matches their prescription, lifestyle, and personality. From recommending the latest lens technology to adjusting frames with precision, you’ll blend fashion with function while delivering an outstanding patient experience.

The ideal candidate has ABO or LDO certification or at least 3 years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle and aesthetics.
• Accurately measure and fit eyewear using pupillometers and lensmeters.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care.
• Place, verify, and receive eyewear orders; inspect glasses for quality.
• Adjust, repair, and maintain eyeglasses and frames as needed.
• Maintain patient records and process insurance benefits.
• Provide outstanding customer service and answer patient questions.
• Train new opticians and manage frame inventory and sales.

Binyon Vision Center is seeking a full-time rock star Optician to join their team in Burien, WA. As an Optician, you will guide patients in finding eyewear that matches their look, lifestyle, and personality. From recommending the latest lens technology to adjusting frames with precision, you’ll blend fashion with function while delivering an outstanding patient experience.

• Competitive salary: $25 - $32 per hour, based on education and experience.

• Schedule varies (36-40 hours per week). Our office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays only. Our office is closed on weekends!

What You Will Do.

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses based on prescription, comfort, lifestyle needs, and aesthetic preferences.
• Accurately measure and fit eyewear using tools such as pupillometers and lensometers.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care.
• Place, verify, and receive eyewear orders; inspect finished glasses for accuracy and quality.
• Adjust, repair, and maintain eyeglasses and frames as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current optical products, styles, and trends.
• Ensure accurate patient records and process insurance benefits.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient concerns and questions.
• Support the overall efficiency of the practice by collaborating with doctors and staff.
• Train new opticians, maintain frame inventory, and track optical sales.

What We Are Looking For.

• LDO or ABO certified OR 3+ years of experience working as an Optician required.
• Knowledge of optical terminology, eyewear materials, and lens technology is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
