Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Test Technician to ensure optical systems meet quality standards before shipment. You will test equipment, run validation, and troubleshoot complex issues, collaborating with R&D and production teams to drive reliable performance.

The role requires hands-on testing experience, proficiency in MATLAB, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment while supporting security-cleared programs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of production or R&D testing experience.
• Experience with cryogenics and vacuum systems in a testing environment.
• Proficiency in MATLAB for data acquisition, processing, and coding.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for non-conforming hardware and software, with ability to identify electrical issues and program failures.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in fast-paced settings.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Test optical equipment according to procedures and specifications.
• Run validation and system-level testing to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues in optical systems, identifying problems in electrical systems and software.
• Document results accurately in the system per work instructions.
• Use MATLAB for data collection, coding, and analysis to support testing activities.
• Maintain test equipment and tools, ensuring calibration and proper function.
• Contribute to root cause analysis of product failures based on testing experience.
• Collaborate with test engineering to improve testing processes and efficiencies.
