Job summary

Anduril Industries in Lexington, MA is seeking a Production Test Technician to ensure optical systems meet stringent quality standards before shipment. You will test optical equipment, run validation and system-level tests, and troubleshoot complex issues.

You will collaborate with the test engineering team, document results in the system, and use MATLAB for data collection and analysis. Experience with cryogenics, vacuum systems, and cross-functional work in fast-paced environments is essential.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of production or R&D testing experience.
Experience with cryogenics and vacuum systems in testing.
Proficiency in MATLAB for data collection, processing and coding.
Strong troubleshooting for non-conforming hardware and software, with the ability to identify electrical issues and program failures.

Responsibilities

Test optical equipment according to procedures and specifications.
Run validation and system-level testing to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with optical systems during testing, identifying problems in electrical systems and the associated programs.
Document results accurately in the system.
Utilize MATLAB for data collection, coding, and analysis to support testing activities.
Maintain test equipment and tools, ensuring calibration and functioning.
Participate in root cause analysis of product failures, providing input based on testing experiences.
Work autonomously while closely collaborating with the test engineering team to improve testing processes and efficiencies.
