PDS Optical is seeking an Optical Shop Administrative Assistant in Lake Nona, FL (Orlando area) to join our team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends. Pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, reflecting our commitment to great Veteran care.

You will assist with daily store operations, greet patients, and perform light bookkeeping. Optical experience is welcome but not required; strong interpersonal and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Optical experience is preferred but not required.
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer focused.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
• Assist with duties associated with the daily opening and closing of the store
• Greet and help patients with information necessary to receive their eyewear
• Basic bookkeeping duties associated with tracking patient’s order and recording purchases, collecting payment and other necessary information for each patient
