Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an Optical Service Rep to serve as the first point of contact for patients, delivering friendly service in person and over the phone. You will resolve inquiries, process transactions, and help coordinate services across departments to maintain a welcoming environment.

As part of the OptimEyes team, you’ll work with multiple departments to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate billing, contributing to high satisfaction and efficient operations in a busy health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills.
• Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stay organized and multi-task effectively.
• Completion of Henry Ford OptimEyes training courses.

What You Will Do

• Greet and direct patients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Investigate and resolve patient inquiries concerning merchandise, service, and billing.
• Complete and record sales transactions accurately in the HFO Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Work closely with all HFO departments to coordinate patients' services.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Ability to demonstrate effective organization skills and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Completion of all training courses as directed by Henry Ford OptimEyes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous optical experience.
