Job summary

ASML US in Wilton, CT seeks a Design Engineer to develop optical/photonic sensor systems for lithography tools. You will design, build, and integrate optical sensors, sources, detectors, and associated electronics and software, working with a multidisciplinary team.

Travel up to 10% to Europe, Asia and the US is expected. You will lead complex tests, analyze data, and communicate results to technical and management levels, with hands-on alignment and signal processing work in

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field with 2+ years experience; MS preferred.
• Experience with data processing/analysis software tools (e.g. MATLAB).
• Hands-on experience with optical system alignment (imaging, testing, alignment, detector).
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop optical alignment sensors for lithography machines.
• Build and integrate optical sensor systems and test setups.
• Analyze sensor data and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Lead engineers across software, electronics, and manufacturing for feature delivery.
• Develop and execute test plans to identify root causes.
• Create data processing algorithms in MATLAB; implement GUI tools.
