Job summary

Eyeglass World in Texas is seeking a part-time Sales Associate - Optical Specialist to join our fashion-forward eyewear team. You’ll deliver warm, confident service, assist customers in selecting eyewear, and manage final fittings and pickup to ensure a seamless, on-brand experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service, with strong multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff
• Support order entry, tracking, and timely completion
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient finish and retail areas
• Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively
• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store
• Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience
