Eyetastic Services is seeking an experienced Optician to join a growing private practice in Lemont, IL. The role emphasizes comprehensive eye care, premium eyewear, and a welcoming patient experience.

The successful candidate will sell premium glasses and contacts, fit and dispense eyewear, and manage insurance benefits while contributing to practice growth. Full-time hours include Saturdays and some evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the optical industry.
• Familiarity with vision plans including Eyemed, Spectera, Davis Vision, and VSP.
• Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays and some evenings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Extroverted personality and ability to build long-lasting patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Selling premium quality glasses and contact lenses.
• Fitting, adjusting, and dispensing eyewear.
• Familiarizing with optical inventory to select appropriate products.
• Operating in-house edging equipment (training provided).
• Managing phone inquiries, patient scheduling, and general questions.
• Verifying insurance and interpreting benefits from various vision plans.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage: $19 to $24

Key Responsibilities:
