Job summary

Shopko Optical in Antioch, IL is seeking a Part-time Optical Sales Associate to join our team. The role offers on-the-job training and no experience is required. You’ll provide excellent patient and customer service, assist with eyewear selection, orders, and dispensing, and support the Optometrist with examinations and screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain license as required by state.
• Shopko OCE Certification requirements and calendar modules must be completed to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, measurements and prescriptions.
• Process orders and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist with frame repairs, adjustments, and contact lens care.
• Support Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
