Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Experience in optical industry is preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Compute and process payment transactions/refunds.
• Process insurance claims efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products.
• Create and maintain patient files, following HIPAA policies.
• Assess and interpret patient needs/wants.
• Take necessary measurements.
• Prepare work orders for the lab.
• Pull correct lenses according to work order specifications.
• Inspect the final product for accuracy.
• Adjust/repair damaged frames.
• Price, stock, and straighten merchandise.
