Job summary

National Vision Holdings, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our optical manufacturing facility, with a 3-day night schedule. You will oversee daily production, hire and develop staff, ensure safety and quality, and maintain workflow across departments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to read and write English. We offer competitive pay, PTO, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate 3 to 5 years directly related experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities in assigned department(s), ensuring workflow and proper utilization of associates.
• Resolves breakage issues to keep breakages low.
• Conducts root cause analysis to timely identify issues and minimize disruption to production levels.
• Process and review daily reports.
• Manages lens and frame inventory as required.
• Trains lead associates and cross-trains associates to perform at multiple stations within the department.
• Interviews and selects associates, reviews performance, and monitors attendance.
