HOYA Vision Care is seeking an Optical Production/Data Entry Clerk for our Robertsdale, AL location. The role focuses on accurate Rx order entry, data integrity, and supporting smooth lab workflows. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a pay rate of $16/hour.

High School diploma required; experience in optical labs preferred. The job emphasizes precision, attention to detail, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read prescriptions and process Rx orders accurately.
• Basic math skills and data entry proficiency.
• 10-key by touch and typing speed of ~45 wpm.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity important.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Enter Rx orders accurately and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as contact for originating labs and support order flow.
• Assist with lens mounting, frame fitting, and optical verification.
• Perform quality checks on lenses and frames and document results.
• Maintain safe handling of tools and adherence to PPE requirements.
