Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking a Product Development & Integration Engineer to drive optical hardware from development through qualification and into manufacturing. You will collaborate with design, testing, reliability and manufacturing teams to ensure readiness and scalable production.

Ideal candidates have a strong systems engineering background and experience with RF/high-speed testing in optical environments, with onsite onboarding in Colorado Springs for several months, and potential hybrid

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
Experience with optical transceivers, optical modules, or similar systems.
Experience guiding hardware products from development to manufacturing launch.

Responsibilities

Coordinate optical hardware from development to production introduction and ongoing manufacturing support.
Evaluate specifications, performance, and tradeoffs to anticipate issues before production.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, testing and reliability teams to improve readiness and consistency.
Analyze optical, RF, and electrical data to identify causes and guide fixes.
Support engineering changes, documentation, and qualification activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and align development stages.
Provide engineering support to address yield, reliability, and continuous improvement.
