Overview

• We are seeking a hands‑on Assembly Technician to support the build of precision optical and optomechanical subassemblies used in advanced inspection and manufacturing equipment.
• This is a hands‑on assembly role.
• The ideal candidate does not need semiconductor or optical inspection experience.
• Candidates with mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, robotics, or other precision assembly experience are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble precision mechanical, electromechanical and optical subassemblies using standard hand tools and work instructions.
• Build and install components such as lenses, light‑source‑related components, fixtures and other small precision parts.
• Follow assembly drawings, SOPs, work instructions and applicable quality requirements.
• Use hand tools and basic measurement equipment to complete accurate assembly.
• Perform visual inspection, basic checks, rework and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and manufacturing teams to support production goals.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands‑on assembly experience preferred.
• Experience in mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, optical, robotics, mechatronics or precision assembly.
• Comfortable working with basic hand tools and small components.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings and established assembly procedures.
• Good manual dexterity, attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach.
• Technical/Associate degree or vocational training is preferred, but equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered.
