Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited seeks an experienced optical network engineer to shape technical solutions and support the sales cycle. You will design architectures, deliver demos, and contribute to real-world deployments in a customer-facing role.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of optical networking experience, knowledge of DWDM/ROADM/SONET, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years optical networking experience.
• Knowledge of DWDM / ROADM / SONET.
• Understanding of fiber transmission principles.
• Experience with optical network design.
• Familiarity with OSPF, BGP or MPLS.
• Exposure to Network Management Systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales with technical solution design
• Design optical network architectures
• Deliver demos and technical presentations
• Assist with solution sizing and proposals
• Join customer meetings and discussions
• Support POC and smaller design projects
• Act as technical advisor during sales cycle
