Job summary

US Conec Ltd. is seeking an Optical Metrology Technician to support precision measurement, inspection, and metrology activities for fiber optic connectivity solutions.

You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive quality and process reliability. Qualifications include an associate degree in a related field and 2+ years in optical metrology, with hands-on experience using microscopes, interferometers, vision systems, and metrology software.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
2+ years in Optical/Metrology roles.
Experience with optical measurement, inspection, and testing techniques.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Perform optical inspections, measurements, testing, and process verification.
Evaluate dimensional, surface, and optical performance of connectors and assemblies.
Operate and maintain metrology equipment used in manufacturing.
Support FAI, capability studies, and process verification.
