Job summary

Corning Inc. in Keller, TX is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support product qualification, reliability testing, and environmental testing of fiber optic components.

You will develop test plans, collect data, and ensure products meet performance requirements prior to production. The ideal candidate has hands-on lab experience with environmental chambers, optical test setups, and automation using Python or LabVIEW, and collaborates across design and manufacturing teams to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with measurement and characterization equipment.
• Experience with optical components, qualification and reliability testing.
• Proficiency with test automation (Python or LabVIEW).
• Knowledge of environmental/reliability testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute product verification and qualification plans.
• Set up environmental and mechanical tests; build optical test setups.
• Collect and analyze data; produce qualification and validation reports.
• Support failure analysis and corrective action with design/manufacturing teams.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and support NPI/DFM projects.
