Job summary

Envista, through its Orascoptic division, is seeking a Loupe Assembly Technician to assemble components for optical loupes in a GMP/ISO environment. You will follow work instructions, set up equipment, and perform visual and instrument-based quality checks to ensure defect-free products.

Starting as a technician, you can advance to Technician II, Sr. Technician, Lead, or Supervisor, with two shifts available: 6:30am–3:00pm and 3:00pm–11:30pm.

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and patience required.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Visual clarity of approximately 20 inches or less for fine/gross manipulation.
  • Good hand dexterity to assemble small components with magnifying lenses.
  • Ability to solder.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions in English.
  • Basic computer skills and math skills.
  • Familiar with good documentation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components of light systems following work instructions with equipment and hand tools.
  • Set up equipment per work instructions to ensure quality products.
  • Perform quality checks via visual inspection and testing equipment.
  • Complete required documentation per quality policies and procedures.
  • Report productivity and quality concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to GMP, SOPs and Manufacturing Instructions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities (EBS, Kaizens, 5S, Kanban, Kamishibai).
