Kearfott Corporation in New Jersey seeks an Optical/Laser Assembly Technician to produce optical assemblies under supervision. You will align, assemble, test, and document procedures, working closely with engineers and technicians in a clean, regulated environment.

Qualifications include 2–5 years in optical/laser assembly, high school diploma (associate preferred), and experience with SOPs, microscopes, and precision hardware. Local NJ facility with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience with optical/laser precision parts assembly.
• Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 environments and cleanrooms preferred.
• US Citizen; ability to lift up to 30 lbs; strong SOPs adherence.

Responsibilities

• Interpret operation sheets, drawings, and schematics to assemble optical parts.
• Perform optical alignment, assembly, testing, and data logging.
• Maintain logs, tolerance sheets, and shop orders with documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on process status and issues.
