Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Associate Technician to setup, operate, and maintain lab equipment in the surface or finish area. You’ll interpret Rx tickets, perform production tasks, and keep systems calibrated per SOPs. The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast‑paced environment.

You will work with a team to ensure quality output, safety compliance, and ongoing training of newer staff, with benefits including health care and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi‑task, orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and basic maintenance of equipment within the assigned area for work task in surface or finish portions of lab production.
• Interpret Rx work ticket and perform production operations on specified equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance for less experienced employees as needed.
