Job summary

Vision Innovation Partners (VIP) is seeking an Optical Inventory Specialist to manage frame inventory across multiple optical locations onsite, ensuring product availability and accuracy. You will oversee replenishment, vendor coordination, and stock optimization while supporting merchandising and profitability goals.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with experience in inventory in retail/optical environments, possess strong attention to detail, and are proficient in Excel and optical

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory management in retail/optical
• Familiarity with Compulink or similar optical management systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required

Responsibilities

• Monitor frame inventory across locations to maintain stock levels
• Manage replenishment orders and inter-office transfers
• Maintain accurate inventory records in company systems
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve receiving errors
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories
• Coordinate frame ordering and replenishment with vendors
• Track open orders, back-orders, and shipment status
• Prepare regular inventory reports for leadership
