Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Optical Engineer to support NSWC Crane, evaluating prototype EO/IR hardware across CDC, MWIR, LRF, SWIR and LWIR. You will perform benchtop testing, data collection, and test reports to support capability evaluations.

You will assist environmental qualification testing, document requirements, and collaborate with senior leaders and installation teams. A DoD Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and EO/IR/Laser experience are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with EO/IR and laser technology programs.
• Experience with government procedures and requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership to installation teams.
