Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong thermal management experience and thermal simulations.
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical products from concept through prototype and validation.
  • Lead the mechanical design of camera-focused and sensor-focused systems, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Perform thermal analysis and simulations to optimize product performance and thermal management.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams to integrate hardware and software components.
  • Define, document, and manage mechanical design requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and validate designs for manufacturability and assembly.
  • Perform design verification testing, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving to resolve product issues.
  • Drive design reviews and ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and production requirements.
  • Support prototype builds, testing activities, and transition of products into production.
  • Maintain engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, test reports, and design records.
  • Independently manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
