Job summary
TE Connectivity is seeking a Program Manager IV for Optical Connectivity (NPI) in Rochester/Webster, NY to drive planning, execution, and delivery of new optical connectivity products for AI and hyperscale customers. You will lead cross-functional teams from customer requirements through prototype builds, NPI, validation and production readiness.
This onsite role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage risks, schedules and customer timelines in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of program management or related roles.
- NPI experience from development through production readiness.
- Experience with fiber optics / optical technologies preferred.
- Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Quality.
- Hands-on with PM tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Familiarity with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution for optical connectivity programs from concept through production readiness.
- Build integrated program schedules with milestones, deliverables, and owners.
- Translate customer requirements into clear internal execution plans and decision points.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and Operations.
- Coordinate NPI and engineering sample readiness, tooling, and validation.
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation and escalation.
- Provide concise, fact-based updates to leadership and customers.
