Job summary

Walmart Vision Center in Clinton, MD is seeking a leader to drive the optical department's growth through effective merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory oversight. You will forecast trends, align assortments to local demographics, and ensure service excellence with HIPAA-compliant patient records.

You will supervise the optical team, oversee measurements and fittings, and coordinate with labs and optometrists to deliver high-quality eyewear and patient care.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of college completed.
• 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• 2 years general work experience, including 1 year optical experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead department sales growth through merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Forecast sales trends and align assortments with customer needs and local demographics.
• Oversee optical measurements, fittings, and lens parameters under supervision.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate patient documentation.
• Develop the optical team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists on product status and actions.
