PDS Optical is seeking an Administrative Assistant at the Lake Nona, FL VA to support our mission of GREAT Veteran CARE. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends.

You will provide friendly service to Veterans, help with daily store operations, greet patients, and perform basic bookkeeping related to orders and payments. Join a team committed to exceptional eyewear and service, with benefits including health insurance and more.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Optical experience is preferred but not required.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with standard computer equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
• Assist with opening and closing duties of the store.
• Greet patients and provide information to receive eyewear.
• Perform basic bookkeeping: track orders, record purchases, and process payments.
